Our Vienna data centers are geo-redundantly connected to the Internet nodes (VIX1, VIX2 and VIX3) to ensure maximum security and availability. Direct dark fiber connections between RDC and ODC21 also enable our customers to operate their equipment in a location-redundant manner for clustering or backups via fiber optics. We are an Austrian company and can make quick decisions in an international environment.

Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is available around the clock and communicates directly with our backbone engineers in AS8218 & AS6461. Our monitoring service for IP runs 24×7, as does the hands-on service on site at the Raiffeisen Datacenter (RDC). The On Demand Center (ODC21) is staffed around the clock and guarantees access to the system rooms.

Redundant Juniper routers at the data center locations and Internet nodes are directly connected to each other via geo-redundant lines (backbone). In addition to the peerings at VIX, our AS8218 is connected to the international networks of other providers via different provider and route lines in Paris and Frankfurt. The availability of free gigabit capacities ensures a stable connection and sufficient bandwidth capacity even if line providers fail.

Data security and data protection are guaranteed by bank-certified security protocols and compliance with the GDPR. upstreamNet voluntarily submits to the ISPA Code of Conduct, compliance with which is validated annually.
